I'm young, single (this is not a dating ad), and I own an online business that I can run from anywhere. It quickly dawned on me that he's right. I'm only going to be young once and I'm completely free, with nothing tying me to England. I can go where I want, do what I want, earn a living and answer to no one. It's a very unique opportunity that you don't get many of in life (if at all), and by the time that I got home form the pub later that evening, there was no doubt that I was going to grasp it. The next day I moved back with Mother for what was supposed to be a month (turns out getting injections takes a long time), and now, three months later, I am just 5 days away from the start of it all. On Saturday the 3rd of January I'm off to Budapest for two weeks to visit the aforementioned Jordon, then to Bangkok, Thailand for a few nights, then Chiang Mai, and that is about all I have planned. I'm going to stay for a few weeks in places I like, and breeze through places I don't. I have no plans, and that's the way I like it. I've joined a few networking groups for location independent entrepreneurs so I can meet people along the way and ask advice, but I'm pretty much just going to go whichever way the wind blows. As it stands, I have no plans for February, and no idea of when I'll be 'home', and I can't wait to get started. So what's between timid and Timbuktu?
The title derived from the fact that all the words between timid and Timbuktu in very small dictionaries relate to time.Time. You only have so much of it. 2015 is about having the time and freedom to grasp opportunities like this when they arise. I have time on my side, and that's what this blog is all about. Me, my travel and my photography. Make no mistake, this isn't a blog for you, it's a blog for me. Somewhere for me to get my thoughts on 'paper' and practice my writing (a skill I feel will be important in my life).
